Farrington Gurney Parish Council will be considering a Parish Council nomination for the 2019 Chelwood Bridge Rotary Community Award at the next meeting of the Parish Council on Monday 17th June 2019.
Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club have invited all Parish Councils within the Chew Valley to nominate their ‘silent hero’ to be considered for the 2019 Community Award.
Persons nominated by the Parish Council for this award must have made a significant voluntary contribution to your community during 2019 or prior.
There are no age restrictions. Examples may include voluntary youth work, caring for the less able or creating and delivering community initiatives.
Any nominee should be recognised as someone who has undertaken something of real benefit for the community or groups/individuals within it.
The successful candidate will be notified by the Parish Council once a decision is made and will be invited to join members of Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club for dinner with a guest of their choice. All nominees will receive a signed “Certificate of Recognition” presented by the Parish Council on behalf of Chelwood Bridge Rotary .
